What personal information do we collect about you?
We gather two types of information from you:
- Information you actively give us, which includes comments on our blog or messages you send us. We use this information to deal with your request and never share this information with anyone outside of our business except for those we do business with on your behalf including sub contractors. You may also be invited to join our mailing list but you will not be added automatically.
- Information your web browser gives us, such as your computer’s IP address, your city and your screen size. We also monitor your use of the website by seeing which pages you visit and how long you spend on them. We send this information to Google’s “Google Analytics” service so that we can measure how effectively our website is at giving you the information you’re after.
Your personal information
We use the information stored in Salesforce to help analyse our business historically over time. We will keep this information indefinitely but you can ask for your personal data to be removed at any time by emailing our data protection officer Mark Brown.. When entering into a contract with you, we may share your name and contact details with other’s who are engaged to fulfil your contract.
As part of the registration process for our e-newsletter, we collect personal information. We use that information to tell you about stuff you’ve asked us to tell you about. We don’t rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses.
We use a third-party provider, MailChimp, to deliver our newsletter. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. For more information, please see MailChimp’s privacy notice. You can unsubscribe to general mailings at any time of the day or night by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails or by emailing our data protection officer Mark Brown.
“Cookies” are small files which your web browser transfers to your computer when you visit a site. They are widely used in order to make websites work, or to work more efficiently, as well as providing information to the owners of the site.
What cookies do we use?
Each cookie has a unique name which you can use to identify where it came from.
