Eco-classroom at Dauntsey Academy Primary School

Building type: Classrooms
Project price: £79,000
Completion date: 2014

Dauntsey Academy Primary School is in West Lavington, Devises, Wiltshire.

Why did you want to develop an outdoor learning space?

With a growing intake of pupils we needed to extend our classroom provision.

What made The Learning Escape stand out from other providers?

We really liked the design and structure of the building. Our school is an active participant of the Forest Schools programme, we endeavour to get our pupils outside as much as possible. We particularly like our covered walkway which encourages the children to go outdoors.

What are the biggest benefits you’ve noticed for the pupils and your school?

The school’s capacity has been increased in a positive way.

How did you find working with The Learning Escape overall?

It was a good experience.
