Why did you want to develop a separate learning space?
Mr Purvis wanted space to contain and use his exercise equipment which was either taking up room in the house or booted out into the cold garage where it was not used.
We asked Head Teacher Julie Mickleburgh to tell us about their building at New Chapter Primary
“We needed extra classroom space to enable us to develop the curriculum further and support the needs of the children at NC in areas such as pastoral support and reading. We also wanted to improve the working conditions for our staff.
We have around ten thousand school children a year visiting us, but had no dedicated teaching space to support our schools programme at the Garden. The Learning Escape appealed to us on many levels, from their eco credentials and fixed priced package, through to their extensive experience of designing buildings for school settings.
