Rowner junior school needed extra space for group work and music.
Swalcliffe Park day and residential school for boys with autism wanted develop their students’ talents in the expressive arts of music, dance and drama.
Q1: Why did you want to develop a separate learning space?
Wavendon Gate School approached us to create a new music room for the school. As the building was to be situated in the central courtyard it was important that it blended with the main school buildings, which required us to deviate from our usual cedar cladding.
