Eco Building for junior school classrooms at Liverpool College

Liverpool College is the city’s leading school, delivering a strong holistic education for boys and girls, from age four to nineteen. Having increased their infant intake they needed to expand the junior provision with a modular school building.

Why did you want to develop additional space?

We had recently built a new 3 form entry infant school but only had a 2 form entry Junior school. Extension of the existing Junior school was not a viable option so the TG Escapes solution gave us the extra capacity at a fraction of the price of new build.

What made TG Escapes stand out from other providers?

They were responsive and flexible to the needs of the school. Nothing was set in stone so we were able to tailor our package to suit the needs, location and ground conditions of our particular site.

What are the biggest benefits you have noticed for the pupils and staff?

I think we have yet to see the full benefits of our building as covid provisions have restricted some of its features but it is bigger than the accommodation the children are used to in the main building so that extra space makes all the difference.
