We are a small privately owned and growing timber-frame construction business based in Coventry. We design and build modular, eco- friendly buildings for both the public and private sector providing a fully inclusive installation service.

We are currently seeking a mature Warehouse Controller to oversee and immerse themselves in the the day to day warehouse operations and an Area Sales Manager for the South East region.  Applications by email to: Matt Gill matt@tgescapes.co.uk

Warehouse Controller 
Coventry £22k per annum + incentive scheme. 
The ideal candidate will have warehouse experience with general maintenance and possibly construction site experience. 
Candidates will have experience within a similar role and a forklift licence would be beneficial.
The position requires experience of managing and coordinating workloads and deliveries, with a strict approach for stock management, controlling goods in and out, along with the allocation of tools and equipment. You will need to be autonomous and manage your own time.
Whilst staff labour fluctuates, depending on workloads, we need a leader who will be self disciplined and used to setting and maintaining the highest of standards.
You will liaise and report to the General Manager and work hand in hand with the Operations Coordinator on jobs in progress/completed, ensuring that systems are accurate and up to date for work in progress.
The following responsibilities apply to the role-
Preparation and coordination of materials for each project.
Assembly of timber frame panels / cassettes.
Health and Safety responsibility for the warehouse.
Additional responsibilities include the Building Services within the workshop / production area.
Operate equipment & machinery in a safe manner
Follow Production plan & monitor work practices.
Effect good housekeeping practices and make sure warehouse is kept clean and tidy.
Work on a day to day basis and ensure all direct labour is profitably employed.
To ensure the Warehouse is maintained and operating within a professional standard
All jobs to be carried out within the times allocated and comply with Warehouse procedures.
Continually appraise daily work in progress and update General Manager and Operations Coordinator.
Advise on new ideas on tooling and efficiency.
Ensure the warehouse is secure and equipment switched off at the close of business.
Monitor all stock requirements to ensure efficient and effective usage and waste.
Highlight and report any deficiencies within the warehouse and put forward reasonable recommendations.
Good manual skills (Saws, Drills etc)
Adherence to all HR policies and procedures to ensure the effective management and development of personnel and implement performance management strategies as appropriate.
Ensure all accidents and near misses within the department are reported in logbook and to the Manager.
Responsible for carrying out quality control checks on all work and documentation completed by all personnel in the team.
All jobs to be carried out within the times allocated and to comply with the current procedures.
Identify gaps in skills base and liaise with General Manager to provide technical training solutions.
Ability to conduct risk assessments, ensure safe working practices and carry out quality control checks.

Area Sales Manager   South East
Salary circa £25k + Generous commission structure + car + benefits

The ideal candidate should have a basic knowledge of the construction industry, but not necessarily modular buildings as full product training will be provided.  Duties will include estimating, sales liaison, site surveys, preparation of tenders and contract documentation, and attending post site meetings. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients within the defined territory to ensure a healthy pipeline is maintained in line with company targets. You will be required to visit clients on a regular basis to develop strong relationships and increase sales.
