Create a more flexible learning space with folding partitions

by anonymous | Nov 28, 2013 | Blog, Education

If you are thinking about a new classroom for your school, but are unsure what size classroom you need, we have the perfect solution allowing you to adjust the classroom to suit a multitude of learning space combinations! The Learning Escape, with a little help from Accordial Wall Systems,  is able to build you a versatile space. By including partitions in an eco-classroom you can mould your already light and airy building into two or more teaching areas.

Lawnside Lower School wanted an Outdoor Classroom that offered the flexibility to cater for different sized groups. Incorporating partitions meant that the teachers had the flexibility to work one on one, or with various sized larger groups. When originally thinking about the design of the building the staff were anticipating the need for four separate classrooms. Due to financial constraints, it was expected that each classroom would be of limited size. However, with the clever use of partitions, space is not limited and can be flexibly adapted for the day to day teaching needs.  The classrooms are only small when the staff want them to be.

“The acoustic folding wall system installed by the Learning Escape allows us to use the Hub as one large space or several small rooms – it’s so versatile. “  Marlene Garfoot, Bursar Lawnside Lower School.
