Psychotherapists Garden Consulting Room

Building type: Offices
Project price: £23,000
Completion date: 2013

Why did you want to develop a garden room?

My wife works from home as a psychotherapist. Although she appreciates the many benefits of having her practice within the family home, she was finding the distractions of daily domestic life were interfering with her focus on work. We thought a consulting room in the garden would provide a perfect dedicated space.

What made The Garden Escape stand out from the other providers?

A friend of ours has a Garden Escape and so we had seen first-hand how beautiful the buildings are. What is more, our friend couldn’t praise the standard of quality and service highly enough. Our first meeting with a member of the team, in which we discussed my wife’s unique requirements, demonstrated a very impressive level of understanding. We felt totally confident that her new consulting room would fit her requirements perfectly.

What are the biggest benefits you’ve noticed, both for you and your family?

Obviously my wife appreciates the separation between home and work and her clients seem to appreciate the beautiful, natural surroundings in which they now receive their therapy. Just as importantly, the rest of the family is really enjoying having the full run of the house again.

How did you find working with The Garden Escape overall?

The whole team were absolutely brilliant from start to finish. As mentioned, they took on board everything my wife wanted her therapy room to accomplish, helping us to achieve a building that is both functional and beautiful. The installation process was fast and painless and the end result is fantastic.
