A resource base can be designed as part of a larger project or added later as your provision grows.

Primary projects are funded through several routes. Capital reserves and Devolved Formula Capital cover smaller works; the Condition Improvement Fund (CIF) supports eligible academies and small trusts, with a £20,000 minimum for primary schools; and developer contributions via Section 106 can fund places linked to new housing. In most cases, yes, a permanent school building needs planning permission, and we handle that for you as part of our turnkey service. We act as principal designer and principal contractor, prepare and submit the application, and manage the process with your local authority. Our in-house architects design with your planners in mind from the start, which helps avoid delays. Funding routes such as CIF also have their own timelines, so we factor planning and funding together into your programme.
