Angels by Day Nursery in Lenton makes extra space with a Learning Escape.

The children of Angels by Day Nursery have plenty of room to play thanks to their exciting new ecological and sustainable development from The Learning Escape. The Montessori Nursery can now combine play, learning and the great outdoors in one exciting place.

Why did you want to develop a Learning Escape?

The Angels by Day Nursery is getting more and more popular each year and we needed to provide more room to accommodate the growing intake. A Learning Escape gave us the opportunity to develop this extra space in keeping with the play garden scheme that we already have up and running. We’re always looking for new ways to get children outside and turn them into adventurers and an outdoor classroom is a perfect solution.

What were the key elements that made The Learning Escape stand out from the other providers?

It’s essential to teach children the importance of sustainability and looking after the environment. The Learning Escape offered us bespoke design and engineering that is eco-friendly all year round. They were so keen to make sure that the development blended perfectly with our garden and to meet our requirements exactly.

What are the biggest benefits you’ve noticed for the children?

The extra space means that every child now has plenty of room to grow. The Learning Escape has also made it possible to install a disabled access ramp, this means everyone can enjoy our exciting new building. We love encouraging the children to explore the garden and get their hands dirty. Our Learning Escape lets them do just that and it’s reassuring to know that the development will last for many years to come.

“The wet-play area is a really unique concept, the children love it and it is so safe.”
