We are very pleased to be working with Woolwich Polytechnic School for Boys in Thamesmead, Greenwich where construction of a brand new state-of-the-art, eight-classroom eco-building is nearing completion.
We’ve always believed that the classroom is the place where young minds are moulded and according to new research carried out by the University of Salford and Nightingale Associates architects, classroom design really does matter.
We’ll be attending The Education Show next week (14th – 16th March) at the NEC in Birmingham. Packed with workshops and conferences, it’s a fantastic day out for the whole school and it’s completely free.
After a long, wet winter, spring term might feel like a distant future but March is quickly creeping round the corner, along with the cutoff date for school budgets. It’s that time of year again when schools need to revisit their 2012-13 budgets and use it or lose it.
This week it has been announced that nurseries may be allowed to accept and look after more children. Those that have highly qualified staff can now have a greater ratio of children to adults. As parents fight for their child’s spot in the top Early Years establishments, the teachers are trying to find ways to make space.
