Case Study

Early Years Room at Charford First School

Building type: Early Years
Project price: £216,000
Completion date: 2014

Charford First School is based in Bromsgrove Worcestershire and with help from The Learning Escape is now able to run Little Acorns for 2 year olds.

1.       Why did you want to develop an outdoor learning space?

We have recently established “Little Acorns” to cater exclusively for 2 year olds, and wanted to provide them with a separate facility where they could be cared for in their own comforting and secure environment.

2.       What made The Learning Escape stand out from other providers?

We were impressed by the level of service that the team at the Learning Escape provided. We are a large and thriving school, with two separate nursery classes already, and there is very little spare resource with which to manage a building project.

3.       What are the biggest benefits you’ve noticed for the pupils and your school?

Our youngest children now have a beautiful, clean environment in which to play in the safety of their own space.

4.       How did you find working with The Learning Escape overall?

It was an excellent experience and very easy as the Learning Escape took care of everything. 5 stars.
