Here at the Eco Schools Show 2012
Here we are at the Eco Schools Show 2012. We enjoyed our workshop this morning on Outdoor Learning & Environmental Citizenship. There were some very bright children there and they could all recognise Daleks and Magpies.
We talked about Nature Deficit Dissorder and why it is important to re-connect children with nature. Did you knw that 11-15 year olds spend half their waking life in front of a screen?
We also talked about how learning outdoors can promote envirnmental citizenship drawing in the research in our whitepaper ‘The Outdoor Environment’.
Our Sedum living roof you can see here is getting a lot of attention, as is our Robyn.
