ASCL Conference

by Robyn Fletcher | Mar 7, 2017 | Blog, Education

The annual ASCL Conference is fast approaching, at the ICC, Birmingham this coming Friday 10th and Saturday 11th March.

Delegates can look forward to a two day programme of intensive training, debate and expert-led interactive seminars. A wide range of inspirational keynote speakers will include the Rt. Hon. Justine Greening, Secretary of State for Education; the shadow secretary Angela Raynor and the National Schools Commissioner, Sir David Carter.

In addition to the main conference schedule, Saturday will include a programme designed specifically for middle leaders: Leading the Future. There will be over 20 sessions from which to choose, led by influential education leaders, covering a range of subjects such as reducing teacher workload and developing a whole school approach to mental health and well-being. The latter is a concept very close to the hearts of the TG Escapes team, who are looking forward to meeting with you on the exhibition floor.

It would be our pleasure to talk with you about your plans for your school and discuss how our buildings are designed specifically to enhance the learning experience and mental well-being of staff and students alike. In addition, we will be offering anyone who is interested the opportunity to enter a free prize draw giving the winner a chance of taking part in a Street Wisdom event, for up to 8 members of staff.

You may have noticed a recent blog post of ours talking about this exciting movement which, very quickly and simply, gives people the tools and techniques to find answers to the questions on their minds. And we are sure that this dynamic and thought provoking conference will present you with many interesting ideas that will pose as many questions as it does solutions. Street Wisdom will help you understand, the answers are everywhere: you just need to know how to look for them.
